2021: PADP, Uganda

Pan African Development Project is a multi-stake holder partnership project for MAAIF (Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry & Fishery),Uganda.

PADP’s (Pan African Development Project) new developed unique MUPAS-model is a multi-stakeholder partnership based on innovative socio-technology to qualify sustainable transitions in which participation, transparency and traceability are central to productivity, and processing and to unlock new connections through innovative digital solutions to access global markets. The MuPaS – model targets specific actors within the agricultural value chain including governments, agribusiness enterprises, value chain organisations and individual households, who depend on agriculture.

PADP’s unique MuPaS – model is a multi-stakeholder partnership which accelerates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and takes a holistic multi-faceted approach to transform the agriculture sector into a sustainable, inclusive production (SDG 1;17); sustainable consumption and production (SDG 9; 12), strengthening capacity for commercialisation (SDG 8: 11), improve food security (SDG 3; 9); create inclusive employment opportunities (SDG 8; 10), and education (SDG 4; 5).
